About

About Quiveld.

An open space for ideas.

A personal website

Quiveld is a bilingual space for ideas, independent software, and personal learning records. It is created and maintained by Quinn Ren as an individual, not a company or registered charity.

The name

“Qui” comes from Quinn; “veld” evokes an open field — a place where projects and creations can take shape.

Meet Nolri

Nolri is Quinn Ren’s original hand-drawn origami-crane mascot. The vector mark preserves the angles, intersections, and overhangs of that drawing.

Strictly noncommercial

All development, AI assistance, domain, hosting, and future server costs are personally funded. Quiveld does not accept advertising, sponsorship, donations or tipping, affiliate commissions, subscriptions, paid access, or paid downloads. Unsolicited donations are not accepted.

Authorship and licenses

Quiveld’s original website presentation, editorial content, and branding retain their respective rights; no broad reuse license is granted. Independent software projects are separate works, and each project’s own repository and license determine its permitted use. Third-party materials remain subject to their respective owners’ rights and applicable licenses. No registered trademark, patent, company status, or filing number is claimed.
